Data controller

Seta Labs.

For any privacy request you can write to [email protected].

What data we process

Browsing data: the systems hosting the site record, for their own operation, technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and time of the request. This data is needed to deliver the service and keep it secure, and is kept only as long as strictly necessary.

Data you give us: if you write to us from the form on this site or contact us by email, we process the data you choose to share (email address, content of the message and, if you give them, phone and company or full name) in order to reply.

Data collected by measurement tools: only with your consent, third-party tools collect data about how the site is used. Details are in the cookie policy.

Purposes and legal basis

  • Running the site and protecting it from abuse: legitimate interest of the controller (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
  • Replying to your requests: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  • Measuring visits and campaigns: your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

Recipients

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.), which processes browsing data as a processor under its own contractual terms.

Messages sent from the contact form reach us by email through FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), an external service. When you send the form, your browser transmits the data you entered directly to FormSubmit (email address, message, phone and company or full name if given, page and site language you write from). With the same request FormSubmit also receives your IP address and technical information about your browser (for example its type and version), as happens with any connection to a web service. Before you send, the page does not contact FormSubmit. FormSubmit processes this data for the sole purpose of forwarding your request to us; its servers may be located outside the European Union and any transfer relies on the safeguards offered by the provider.

With your consent, usage data is processed by Google Ireland Limited through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. Google may transfer data to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

Data is neither sold nor disclosed to other parties, except where the law requires it.

Retention

Browsing data is kept for the technical time needed. Messages you send us are kept as long as needed to handle the request and in any case no longer than 24 months.

Data collected by measurement tools follows the retention periods stated in the cookie policy.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, the restriction of processing and data portability, and you can object to processing (articles 15 to 22 GDPR), by writing to [email protected]. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before.

If you believe the processing breaches the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
